Michigan Maritime Museum to host 'Lost on the Lady Elgin'
HollandSentinel.com By Laura Roberts Local author Valerie van Heest will present the free event, which begins at 2 pm and focuses on the lost steamship Lady Elgin. The steam ship was lost at the bottom of Lake Michigan in 1860 when the vessel sank during a storm. |
